Well i just got my order from US plastics while they had their free shipping offer going on. Not sure what happened but I ordered 30 bottles and caps separately (as i wanted a dispensing cap for the bottle) with a top size of 28/400. the bottle i ordered was #60146 and was even confirmed on my confirmation email. The bottle that came was the wrong size so the cap does not fit properly. They sent me a bottle with a cap size of 28/410 and part #66204, instead of the 28/400 i had originally ordered. What i am confused about is somehow on the packing slip the product number changed and showed #66204 instead of the #60146 which i originally ordered.

I tried emailing them but the person is now telling me that the bottles i ordered and the bottles i was sent are the EXACT same, even though there are 2 different product numbers and caps that don't even fit.

Im still awaiting a response but any suggestions what i could do?

Wow that's odd. I got my large order from them yesterday and I ordered the same #60146 bottles as you and I got the yorker dispensing caps. I didn't try them to see if they were correct as I was heading out to work. When I get home in a few I'll check them out and post what I find. I just counted the bottles and the number was right. I need to see what number is on my packing slip.

Ok I got home and checked my order and I too ordered the bottles with #60146 but my invoice says #66204 just like yours. However, I got the yorker dispensers that are 28-400 and they fit perfectly. I also got some 28-410 caps and they too fit perfectly. There must be almost no difference between the 28-400 and 28-410 as both fit perfectly. Not sure why your caps don't fit properly as mine do.

I ended up getting some chemical resistant spray heads that are 28-400. I also ordered one any position sprayer with a 28-410 thread, both seem to fit fine on my bottles too. I didn't try it with liquid to see if it leaks but the dry fit felt fine.

It fits, just seems like the cap is supposed to be longer so it screws on better. ?

I think the first number "28" refers to the diameter of the opening at the top of the bottle and cap. They should fit but perhaps they did send you the wrong caps or something.

no the caps i ordered only comes in one size. My only concern is that I bought these with the intention to mail items if I ever needed to just worried about leaking
