Exclamation running cars on water???

What do you guys think of this? Water Fuel Conversion - Save Gas, Drive Greener, Save Money
With oil pricey raising up, it really adds up on the fuel. If I can run my daily driver on water, I could probably afford a V12!

Well see that sounds interesting but you have to look at it this way too. Converting from the fossil fuel to say water fuel well it may be safe for the environment and all but water is starting to be a bit scares, we humans are consuming a large amount of water/resources as is it.

I personally feel that it's time to start looking at solar or just other extreme technology. Something that won’t eat up re-sources…I don’t know just thinking out loud that’s all.

Although I agree that this water fuel is better for the environment it's still not a solution, example lets say this water fuel conversion goes through. Well then all of a sudden those countries that have plenty of water will hog it and sell it and make profit on, no better then where we are now. Worst part is that our body’s need water to survive and now our body’s and our vehicles consuming the water, the question that comes to my mind is how much water are we/mother nature producing to sustain our selves let alone now fuel for our vehicles. So now fossil fuel will go down in price but water will sky rocket just like oil is at the moment...either way you look at it what ever new technology they come up with it's going to cost just as much as what we are paying now for gas.

Well that's just my opinion though but it’s a very interesting topic

If we can get a vehicle to run on seawater, we'd be in fantastic shape...

I guess if that takes off, we can all buy crazy CR machines and make our own!

sea water can be converted into drinkable water. And we won't run out, because 2/3 of the earth is covered in sea water. Our precious government doesn't want us to do that, because the control oil/prices and have a piece of that profit. With water they won't be able to. I personally agree with you, Carlos, solar energy is an excellent energy resourse. I seen that Mercedes Benz (seen it optional on E-class) and Audi (seen it optional on A6) offer solar roof/solar sunroof to run your vent keeping your car interior cooler in hot weather without draining your battery. Combine that with water, and maybe wind turbines, and you might have enough power to run a car. In the video (the link tha tI posted) the guy only used about 4 oz (120ml) of water on 100 mile trip. That's pretty impressive. I know, republicans don't want it...
