Default Maranello Auto Refinishing

Well I went to visit my friend Gerry, I've mentioned that I have a friend that owns his own body shop, well I'm on holidays right now till January 7 so this is were I plan on spending all my holidays at

Gerry (owner of Maranello with his wife) does amazing work, now you guys have heard me slam body shop's or not beinb able to find a good body shop well if any of my vehicles need body work they are goin to my friend...okay enough Wile I was there today I snapped some pictures of the vehicles tha the shop is currently working on...I was druling I kid you not my jaw was on the floor after looking at these vehicles but I'll let the pictuers do the talking.

Oh here is Gerry's website if anyone is interested, well it's the least I can do

Maranello Auto Refinishing

Okay picture time, oh and every vehicle has a kick ass story too:

Now see that Gallardo...well..um...I'll tell you the story shortly....

yup, no engine no transmission nothing..this Gallardo was striped down completely, Gerry was telling me that the owner of this vehicle sent the engine to Europe to get tuned to spit out some ridicoulus horse power. Onwer also wants te vehicle to be repainted (I can't remember what colour though)...man when I saw this my jaw hit the floor and my yes went wide open!!! okay it gets better....

Yup another one, a Porche this time..onwer did the same thing as the Gallardo

Entire vehicle striped down to the bare bones, engine sent to Europe to get tuned to spit out some wicked HP (Gerry said 1000HP but I don't know about that... could be ) oh and the owner also wants the colour to be changed.

Some parts of the Porche, I don't think that's the final colour though.

So the owners of the Gallardo and the Porche are big car nuts and the vehicles are being pimped out for shows oh and for rasing..yea rasing that's wicked

Oh then it gets better

This bad boy had some wicked rims and some incredable technology too.

The owner was smaked on the driver corner and that lense on the driver side had to be ordered from Europe...took for ever to get to Calgary Gerry told me oh and a new bumper had to be ordered, owner changed the bumper and just for that type of service and work it was well over $10,000.00 insurance is going to have a hay day on the person that hit this car

He works on a bunch of Mini's too..well Gerry is a certified BMW body shop, that and I wanted to show the wife this Mini as I really liked the yellow and black colour contrast oh and this mini was in rough shappe...looked it was rear ended by a large vehicle (SUV at least) left rear passenger panels had to be ordered it and the rear bumper too.

Now I peaked a window and I saw this bad boy...

Ooh I had to shut one eye but wait..it gets worse..

that's all I felt like doing...oh but wait it gets even better

yup two Ferraris smaked really good..man that's just sad Gerry thinks that one might be a total write off and the other just order some parts in for it and it should be good...I didn't get the full story on this one but I think the first Ferrari was one that had an accident on Deerfoot...Crossroad confirmed it Oh Crossroad you got to tell the story buddy.

Okay I got sad at seeing those Ferraris so moved back in side and lookie, lookie

This one made me think of FMINUS

Now I didn't get the full scoop on this one but let me tell you one expensive vehicle to fix..the entire front end hand to be re-done..new bumper, new venders, new head lights...list goes on and on...oh and a very gorgeous vehicle...the interior is wicked...I can see why FMINUS loves his BMW's

Okay now this one I have no clue no one seemed to wan to tell me the scoop on this one so I'll call it the mistery Mini from what I could see the entire interior, exterior was being re done :confues:

Oooo then the druling began again old school but gorgeous...the interior was mint..from what I could see the driver front fender was being re-painted but that's about it

Oh last but not least check these bad boys out:

Look at how wide the tires are on the Porche oh but that's not the reason why I took this pictures check the next one out

this is a how wide the rims/tires are on the Gallardo..I just thought it was impressing that's all

Well the nice thing is that I'll be able to detail these bad boys when they are done... I can't wait

Oh and I was actually supposed to detail a vehicle but the owner re-scheduled for next friday..it's all good I got Gerry that will keep me very bussy coming up

Story time about that ferrari accident!!! So it was a little rainy out, left deerfoot(inner city highway, for those of you who aren't from here) a little slick. I was on the way home from work, and traffic is a mess. I just figure someone else has smacked a barrier...welllllll I get up there and what do I see? Oh yes, a ferrari that seems to have hydroplaned into the barrier and slid along about 100 feet befor eit came to rest...that's the silver one.

THEN, two weeks later, i am once again home from work and it's raining cats and dogs. I'm doing a little over the limit but still well within safety limits when this ferrari blows past me; I figure he is doing 140ish because I felt like I wasn't moving at all! I get up about another 100 meters JUST in time to see the cars back end wiggle and off he goes into the barrier, yep....write off. That' one's not pictured here though.

Can I come over to play. haha my internal bleeding ends Tuesday!!

I just really want to see that 996. I am surprised the owner doesn't have PCCB considering he is doing a rebuild.
