As you know we are in the final stage of bringing Chemical Guys products to eShine. The last mental block we have is permanent sale prices. Many companies do it…They show a regular price and a sale price. The sale price basically never changes or expires which forces all other retailers to match the sale price in order to stay competitive. The small problem we have is we were not factoring the fact that our discount is off the regular prices, not sale prices and we are trying to decide if setting our Chemical Guys prices at their listed regular prices but having our own sales (Not permanent sales) will make eShine overpriced. Thoughts?

I think you should have a regular retail price and have occasional sales. If you build your business on having the cheapest price you will always be flirting with disaster. Sell good products, provide good service and you will be successful. Look at Autogeek. Right now those a%$holes are selling PO85rd for 29.99. Thats ridiculous. They are killing the market on that item. Sorry to rant but it pisses me off.

What you mean there are better prices then eShine
![]() lol..teasing well business is business and like it's been said provide the service you have been provided and have occasional sales and you should be good for a wile. You as a business have to stay competitive, you know that I don't need to tell you that, but at the end of the day customer service is what truly makes a difference. Just keep the great service you have provided me and many others here and you'll be fine |

If everyone is discounting, it might be tough to not match the same level of discounts.
As Nica has said, business is bussiness... you want to sell as high as possible and consumers want it as cheap as possible. Be competitive, have great service and I'm sure everything will be fine
