Default Need a Specific Video of Detailing? Ask Nica!

Well, here it is... a forum thread dedicated to making formal requests to Carlos (Nica) of any kind of detailing technique that you'd like to see. I will constantly update this thread as videos are provided by Mr. Hollywood himself.

Here is what we have:
  1. How to Polish Using the Metabo PE12-175, PO85RD3.02 / PO83, and a UK 3M Black Waffle Pad
  2. How to Polish Under Side Mirrors Using the Metabo PE12-175, P085RD3.02 / PO83, and a UK 3M Black Waffle Pad
  3. How to Polish Over 3M Protection Using the Metabo PE12-175, UK 3M Perfect-It III Ultrafina SE 50383, and a UK 3M Black Waffle Pad
  4. How to Polish Around and Over Edges/Curves Using the Metabo PE12-175, UK 3M Perfect-It III Ultrafina SE 50383, and a UK 3M Black Waffle Pad
  5. A 50/50 Shot of What a Great Polishing Technique Can Accomplish
  6. How to Tape Up and Tape Down Named Emblems/Badges Using 3M Masking Tape 233+ 18mm x 55mm (3/4")
  7. How to Tape Up Round Emblems/Badges Using 3M Masking Tape 233+ 18mm x 55mm (3/4")
  8. How to Polish Tail Lights Using the Metabo PE12-175, Menzerna PO85RD3.02 and UK 3M Orange Foam Pad Followed by the Makita 9227C, Menzerna PO85RD and UK 3M Black Waffle Pad
  9. Behavior of a Sticky Clear Coat Using the Metabo PE12-175, any polish you throw at it, and the Sonus White Foam Pad
  10. How to Apply Wax by Hand Using Victoria Wax Concours Red Wax
  11. How to Compound Using the Metabo PE12-175, 3M Perfect-It III Fast Cut Plus Compound 50417, and a Menzerna 6-inch Wool Pad
  12. How to Spur a Wool Pad
Here are the current requests:
  1. Engine detailing
  2. Wheel detailing
  3. Polishing bumpers with complex designs
  4. Wet sanding headlights/paint and when a situation calls for it and why
  5. Interior detail (wipe down, vents, carpet extraction and thorough cleaning, seat belts)
  6. Cleaning door jambs
  7. Dealing with tough water spots

Nica has done a *great* job with his videos, he really has helped a lot of people out I'm sure, including myself.

With that said, I wouldn't mind seeing a video of him polishing a bumper with a sorta complex design.

I would like to request a video on wetsanding headlights and paint and knowing when wetsanding is required/appropriate (determining factors to wetsand).

Oh well done Denzil I'm going to have to keep my eyes on this thread

I've got a few more videos that I'm curently converting...wish I had my MacBook Pro it would be much faster and easier

I will do my best to make good quality videos for all requests.

Yea, I agree the "thank you" button is a great feature...and I'm more then happy to do the videos, I'm havin fun doing the videos and I'm more then willing to help out members, I'm just glad the videos are helping

ya i second bumpers with a lot of crevices and complexity to it.

I'm certain that the majority of us do not question your quality Carlos... it's rather your quantity!

Don't worry though really, take your time and do those videos right like you have been doing. We can all wait because we all know it's worth waiting for.
