Default New Acronym Feature Issue

First off conceptually the new acronym feature is great.. but I have seen some issues with it..

Such as anytime someone uses the AIO acronym it automativally assumes we are referencing KAIO... there are other instances where this occurs.. not sure what can be done but just thought I'd voice this.

Yea, I noticed that as well Motor..hmmm.. Mike and I are trying to work something out still. Hopefully we can get a few things done with it.

Another one that I noticed is when some one says AG as in Auto Geek it assumes something else hahahahaha.

Well I'm sure Mike will be able to work something out, I'll keep you guys posted on this.

Yeah, like I said I dont know what can be done about it, nut just thought I'd throw it out there.

Here's a little test I did to see if I could remedy it..

I went into my original thread that I thought was the template for this.. I went to the Klasse AIO line item... The acronym was simpky listed as AIO, SO I added a "K" in front of it. I then came back to this thread to see if my fist post where I used KAIO changed,... NAda

No, the modification you did would not effect it you would have to include the modification in the Admin panel, so modifying it like that would not work Motor...but your on the right track Motor, I mean adding an extra letter for or something like that would work just fine but it's kinda hard becuase we are all used to writing it a certain way...still scratching my head on this one though....

Well in the case of KAIO I would not just say AIO when reffering to Klasse... I would only use AIO when suggesting/referencing an AIO in general and I think that would be the general practice...

hmm..true, but it's almost like coming up with a standard...mm..not a bad idea actually..okay so Klasse All In One your saying should be KAIO...then what should AIO be? All In One, just in general?

YUP.. since there are many all in one products and not all of them are Klasse.. For instance - When Tonya wanted help to clean up her hubbies rims, she was suggested to use an all in one (here I would use the AIO acronym), then if she asked well what all in one do you recomend then someone could say Klasse All In One (here I would assume most would use KAIO

Yes, good point Motor I'll modify the AIO to be generic and create another one just for Klasse All In One

If you catch other ones please let me know I'll modify as required
