It's a button you push, like the Quote - Multi - Quick ones, to tank the poster instead of having to actually type "Thanks!". Then a mini-thread underneath lets the OP know who all has thanked them.

Not sure if the software used for this forum has that capability though.

There may be too many thank yous thrown around though.

Um..the idea sounds interesting, but this would be good because...um.. it would save users the time from typing the thank you? Not trying to be rude, disrespectfull or anything like that nor am I trying to say it's a bad idea I'm just trying to understand why a button would come in handy that's all.

I thinks its a good idea, not because the poster need his/her ego stroked, but to let you know whether to post the next time the subject comes up. Kinda like the 'was this info helpful' thingy when you are looking for FAQ and software help sites. I know on a long thread I'd like to know how many people agree with some of the $h1t people post, LOL! It may help to weed through some of the garbage after its been implemented for awhile. Good idea TOGWT

Maybe lke 5 empty stars and you click on how helpful the info was. clicking on 3 fills 3 and clicking 4 fills 4 and so on. A running average could be shown on the post....just thinking....any other ideas, guys?

Nica, do you need to go see a forum that already has it implemented? If so, go wander around Mazdaspeedforums.org.

But if it's gonna cost more for you then fuggettaboutit

Most upgrades don't really cost as much as you think, but I'll check out the Mazda forum
