I used the 3403 for a little today and so far I prefer the metabo. It is so light, it just feels very different. It seems like I can hear the motor bogging down a bit when I apply pressure to a 6" 3m blue pad with UF. It does not seem to effect the performance. It is very loud IMO. More to come after next week.

nice, i felt alot more comfortable purchasing the metabo only cuz ive seen tons of detailers PROVE its efficiency and credibility. thats not to say that the flex is any worse/better, but the metabo has been out..and it hasnt seemed to let anyone down..

im excited

im hoping to get my parents red slk to look like gary's red viper hehe

As long as you keep the metabo on speed 2 or higher you will not have any issues.
