Thumbs up WOW, what customer service.

Thanks Phil. I cannot believe my Flex is here ALREADY. Awesome service.

Do I need to do anything like check the backing plate to make sure it is tight or anything before I use this machine or should it be ready to go?

Make sure the nut on the backing plate is always tight. I would even check between uses to make sure it doesn't come loss and eat up the plate.

No problem. I also heard something about using a lightweight synthetic oil on the felt ring. But have to do more research on that.

I believe "white" air compressor oil (a couple drops) has been recommended.

Do you have any idea what this is supposed to prevent? I know the reason for tightening the nut on the backing plate. But I don't know what is the deal with the felt ring. Thanks.

Anybody know what white air compressor oil is? I think I need to pick some up from the store but am unsure what air compressor oil to get.
