I am getting this question a lot and it seems when we apply a credit it is taking a while for it to show up on customers cards. We are brainstorming other ideas that will avois this. Rest assured all DB orders will get their discounbt. I have Erin looking into the last few discounts making sure customers got them.

The current system to apply discounts makes it the onus on the customer to email, pm, post on the forums to get the discount.
I don't have a problem with this, but the credit should be applied quickly, so that the customer doesn't have to ask several times and get upset, and/or doesn't know what is going on. This system has many processes in place. The other solution is to give out a discount code and it would be applied upon checking out. Detailers Domain and almost all other online stores do this. Makes it easy for both parties. Drawback is that the discount code could be leaked, but you may get more people ordering since it is easy to get a discount. Just my $0.02 |
