Hi,

I sent a PM regarding this order for you to put the DB discount on... Can you please confirm this has been done? I recieved the tracking # today..

As well, can you bring in and how much would a Swissvax wheel brush cost?

Faber, all discounts are done afterwards and will show as a credit on your payment method. We no longer sell Swissvax.

I am getting this question a lot and it seems when we apply a credit it is taking a while for it to show up on customers cards. We are brainstorming other ideas that will avois this. Rest assured all DB orders will get their discounbt. I have Erin looking into the last few discounts making sure customers got them.

The current system to apply discounts makes it the onus on the customer to email, pm, post on the forums to get the discount.

I don't have a problem with this, but the credit should be applied quickly, so that the customer doesn't have to ask several times and get upset, and/or doesn't know what is going on.

This system has many processes in place.

The other solution is to give out a discount code and it would be applied upon checking out. Detailers Domain and almost all other online stores do this. Makes it easy for both parties. Drawback is that the discount code could be leaked, but you may get more people ordering since it is easy to get a discount.

This happened to us several times in the past. We had discount codes for a couple forums and over 60% of orders were using the same discount code. To top it off we were reading on several forums where the codes were being passed along. The intent of offering a specific forum discounts is not to simply give near everyone who order discounts. We tried this new system and we too agree it is a major PITA to keep track of. Faber, I just emailed you a copy of ther credit info. We will also look into coming up with a more user friendly system, we want to protect ourselves while also offering members the discount
