Default Got me a tripod

Well I mentioned I went to the camera store and was so close on purchasing a 40D camera, man they are gorgeous cameras but I think the 40D is too much camera for me at the moment...that and I still need to learn a bit more so I passed on the 40D...but I did pick up this wicked tripod:

Well as you can see I got a long way to go on taking pictures but my friend recomended this tripod, he told me that a tripod will last for ever so I tried to get a good one.

I've been using my dad's tripod since I was 9. He got the tripod for $200 in 1987. Tripod FTW.

No way really..wow....well that makes me feel much better now for two reasons..one is that tripod has lasted a very long time and two I feel better spending the amount of money I did on the tripod...tripods arent cheap at all but well worth it if they last that long...thanks for sharing vrwm
