How are you liking the 40D so far?

What did you have before it?

I am currently shooting a 20D and am deciding if I should make my next move to the a 40D or to the eventual replacement for the 5D.

Your thought on the 40D would be appreciated

Thanks.

i really like the the 40D alot!

i had the xt before it so anything is an upgrade from that

the 40D for the price is a much better deal than the 5D

I would get the 40D over the 5D, although there is talk about a 5DmkII coming out so i donnoooo

thanks.

the 5D replacement (5dmkII maybe) is my other consideration.

I'm not really in need of an upgrade at the moment so I will likely just wait to see what comes out.

Glad to hear you are really enjoying the 40D. Its a great camera!

Okay so I've got some questions here lol..what a surprise huh lol.

Okay first of all, the lighting, what lights did you use? I'm assuming two umbrella lights. So what do the lights to? Give the vehicle that 3D apperance? Also the colour of the sky, is that the way it turned out or did you play around with photoshop?

Now about the flash inside the vehicle, the purpose of that was to give it that nice glow inside? I'm a ssuming it is but not sure here.

So start edumacating me again

i used 3 lights...

car was in the middle and 2 lights off to the side...one was on an umbrella and one i use plastic tomthumb bag to defuse it lol...the flashes used were 2 sunpak 383 and 1 580ex II

and one inside the car..to give it more pop and not black windows...

the lights were to well light up the car lol...this was at 8 at night so it was dark...also the sky pretty much looked like that when i took it...i did a little to it in photoshop...i shot in RAW
