Default Model shoot-Kearston

Kearston wanted a shoot for her portfolio. I needed some for mine so we did this shoot. Some natural light and some with Q-flash with 12" softbox.

Wow, amazing photography and gorgeous girl! I definitely wouldn't stop you from sharing more Scott, hehe.

Man, now I feel like buying a professional camera but I must educate myself a little more first! I guess I should play around with the Canon AE-1 that my dad gave me, LoL. It might get pricey with the rolls of film...

Man the colours look great, the purple is just POPPING!! Looks great, the picture I like the most is the first one. The background colours look great...actually all the colours seem to flow together.

I like Kearston eyes, the colour looks great

Share away Scott I enjoy seeing the pictures you take as I've learned quite a bit from you

I got a question, the black and white thing. What is that supposed to do to the image..I mean I like the black and white effect but I don't quite understand it's purpose? Some say it's more of an architect concept, meaning more inclined to building, straight lines..ect..ect..but to be honest I dont really get it

The black and white, for me, gives the picture a more dramatic feeling. In some cases, b/w doesn't always work. As for anything in photography, you just have to have the eye for it. You go and take the pictures, then you have to do the post production (pp) and there are so many options. Like anything it is just practice, and messing around with photoshop.

From what I gather, the purpose of shooting at that angle is just an artistic and different perspective shot from your traditional photog shots which are usually either straight horizontal or vertical.

The pictures look great. You still need to convince the girl with the jeans from the last set of pics to have her own shoot
