thats basicly what i wanted was a drying aid q/d . i wax once a month so durability in a q/d really isnt needed for me . adams a nice q/d man the smell is strong though

Alright, I guess I should now correct myself. I bought a bottle of Meg's 135 yesterday and just went outside to try it. OK...I'm impressed now. The paint feels like a nice nonstick pan, and the car looks really really wet. I'm sure some of that is down to the Rubbish Boy's OE (which is still going strong), but yeah...to say this stuff is "a little better" than regular red bottle Meg's QD is a gross understatement.

Too bad I've got so much of the red bottle stuff. Every time I buy a claybar kit, they give me a bottle of that stuff. I've taken to cleaning up my countertops with it.
It might be slick and such but the ingredients in it are not exactly good for the car

It was just another over generalization. It is best to names products and specific ingredients to make discussion meaningful.

I use Duragloss AW as a QD and it's perfect. Also, Meguiars Final Touch is great but I use it like VXRMarc does: after flooding the paint with water just before drying.

SV QUICK FINISH
SV NANO EXPRESS
CG SPEED WIPE
CG WHITE NUBA
CG EXTREME SLICK QD

AND A QD FOR POLISHING TO CHECK THE FINISH:
MENZERNA TOP INSPECTION HANDS DOWN!!!!!

i like SV quick finish, but i also like the new nano express esp for door jambs and the heavier jobs. i am also a big fan of CG white nuba qd, speed wipe and extreme slick from cg.

cg ONE is just too much of a pain b/c if the car is hot it is a pain to clean off. i don't want a qd that cakes.. it's good for the tougher spots though and in sub 80 weather it performs well.. but i still prefer the other cg products i named.

i haven't tried optimum and fk 425 but i will soon enough.. but right now i really love the 6 -7 i have!! They are all great for different things.. really impressed with the nano express though. that stuff really performs well and on a bunch of different materials.
