Default World's Best Wax: Surface Refresh (QD)

Hey guys,

I was at the Canadian International Auto Show and noticed the World's Best Wax booth. They demonstrated their product on a galardo convertable, M6 and porche 911. World's Best Wax is a local (Toronto) company that promotes their product as premium and competes primarily against Over the Counter brands found at Wal-Mart and the like.

Their sales pitches are geared towards people who use OTC products but also claim their products exceed the quality of products like Souveran and Nattys. They even try and draw comparisons to Zymol and Swiss Vax.

Anyways, this product is a quick detailer, and from what i've seen, especially at the show when it was used by BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Porche, and other makes as a QD to remove fingerprints and add shine. Demonstrated on Black it was really nice, bringing out a great shine. But that was kinda biased because of these show cars were brand new and relatively swirl free.

Using this product on my own car,... meh. Nothing special. To tell you the truth, I have a litre of DP qd and it works just as well.

It's a great product, but most of the price is marketing hype. Buy it and use it if you can sell the marketing hype to your customer. As for me, i'll stick to my cheaper brands

Buddy..I just sent you a message on AG telling you to get your a$$ over here!! Glad to see you here! I have heard about this stuff and was curious but never went farther with it than that. I am pretty much into DG sealants for my customers now, unless al-53 comes through with that new sealant he's got. My own rides even get DG 105 although I did top it with PS last week b/c I had a little bit of time and felt like doing something on my car.

I haven't seen much reviews about World's Best Wax. I was checking out their website and the products didn't attract me much. I wonder how they stack up to waxes in their price range.

To tell you the truth, the red carnuaba draws a lot of comparisons to VICTORIA WAX. Some even say it IS the same wax just rebranded.

The red wax is their premium wax for concourse. They have a "lower level" wax that's yellow.

They also have a "Surface CLEANSE" product which I have a small sample of. It's a cleaner wax but I'd love to see how a) using it then stacking layers of Red concourse wax works out.

The president of the company and his staff did a REALLY good job selling the product to a lot of hobbyists and car collectors. He was wowing the rich, wealthy and those who have their cars detailed frequently.

I was lucky enough to catch a guy with an MG and I hopefully will get that business but that aside, I'll post a side by side review using POORBOYS products ... nattys red will be a direct comparison for his entire line.

Yeah I saw a similarity with their yellow being called "collectors", then their red wax, when compared to the waxes Victoria has.

I have all WBW products, I got them last year.
Their red wax is just as good as Souvran and any of the other high end waxes. The surface refresher is good too. If your into carnuba waxes give it a try.

Well after testing and corporate questioning, it turns out World's Best wax IS in fact victoria wax, every product is the same from the detailer to the waxes. Don't pay full price for World's Best wax, Victoria waxes are better priced.

Victoria waxes are great, worth every penny and not too expensive either.

Thanks for the update m4gician

Default It's not Victoria

World's Best Wax, is not Victoriawax. They are two different companies with two different formulas. They make look similar but they are not.
