I have used CG's liquid extreme shine, pretty good durability, never tried it with Black wow

What did you end up using on the step bars? I can't imagine black wow being good (or safe) for that application.

I take a turtle wax MF applicator like you get at Big Lots and put about a 2" line of Black Wow in the middle of it. I then take the CGs trim gel and put a line all the way around the outer edge of the pad. Take the pad and fold it in half to rub the mixture together on the applicator and start applying. It will go a long ways. If you really want to make it look great go back after the application and spray everything with Stoners Trim Shine and it seems to sort of lock in the shine.

On the step bars I used Klasse AIO since they are mostly metal. I then spray the plastic pieces with Stoners Trim Shine. I use this for all nerf bar set ups.

I've only used the ASD on wheel wells and that plastic isn't very porous so if the trim on the Honda is porous not sure how it will work. Try it on a small area and see how it does. You could also use Stoners More Shine and that can be bought at a lot of Advance Auto Parts stores. It wont have the durability of the Black Wow/CGs Trim Gel but will give a very similar look for a little while.
