Default Temperature matter?

Hi guys, i need some advice! I live in Thailand. a normal temparature here around 95-104 fahrenheit in summer I work in my garage open air ( just roof on top) and everytime when i polish or wax to the car i notice the surface really hot! i think maybe around 86F or more. So i spay a cooling water no the surface before polish to let chemicle dry slowly before its break down. For waxing, just reduce the temperature on the surfece... is it right or not
