Here's a little sample pic for you to "wet your whistle" with.... I couldn;t do a screen print of the entire form so a few lines are omitted... I have one of these for the vehicles I see the most of

I use this as a check in sheet..

When I get to the job I whip out my clipboard and walk around the vehicle with the customer, making a note of all items listed on the sheet.

In doing so you note any pre-existing damage/defects. This eliminates the customer saying "that was not there when you took possesion"... This also gives you the opportunitty to point each and every defect out to the customer and then you have the chance to tell them what you can do to fix the situation "$Cha-Ching$".

In additon there are spots for you to make a note of radio codes, this comes in handy should you need to remove the battery.

Pretty much every exterior/interior area of the vehicle is accounted for..

For the purpose of noting paint thickness, that should be documented under the pictures of the vehicle, only difference is the view is not exploded... same funtionality with a bit more funtion added and a very professional appearance.

Are you tpgsr or did you borrow his work and add in your own pictures of the cars? The originals came with a white Beemer I believe. I think it would be fair to give the originator credit... Its a very well done form, covers all of the bases, that's for sure.

Nope I didn't create them...Don't remember where I got them from... Only thing I did was added the pictures for vehicles I do from yahoo motors, they offer 360 degree views

Simply passing along a tool that has served me well

By the way, the forms in the link you posted seem to no longer work
