Now this depends on the weather and the car.....my exceptions are when Im doing an expensive car I hit the wheels with my p21s gel and if they are awful and let that sit while im inside, checking every so often

Interior first, from the top down and inside(midline) out
dust out and crevice work and then the 1st vac.
wipe down
dress
interior glass and mirrors
a quick 2nd vac or shampoo carpets/ shampooable items .

Exterior
pretreat car w/ TAW or Bug/tar remover if needed
Agitate wheels from previous along with cleaning the wells
foam car
agitate wheels and do a quick over again
rinse
2BM wash
rinse
clay

Correction/paint refinement
wash if needed

or skip straight to pre wax/sealant cleanser or glaze depending on the situation
then 1st coat of lsp
dress tires, seal wheels, dress wells/ trim
exterior glass treatment
2nd layer lsp
final wipe over and special touches

I probably missed a thing or two but thats my template gameplan though left open for adjustments...everything flows

And if it makes you feel any better, when im doing my own car, my mothers silverado or my best friends' cars I take way too long as well, girlfriends car is really quick though....

Remove wax/sealant

i think it should take you the whole day to properly clean the car..that's without paint correction..

Why do you say that? I feel you can get a car clean [exterior] in less than an hour if you work efficiently. Interior takes longer, but certainly not a day. I feel I could do two a day [comfortably] by myself.

+1

i said this on another forum, and i'll repeat it.. i spent 7+ hours on an S class Merc the other day w/o paint correction. applying the glaze took a majority of the time. i feel like i should've been able to complete the job faster but everything's gotta be perfect in my book. the customer may think it looks good after a wash but my mind needs a little more reassurance.
