Default Introducing the Liquid Shine Polishing System.

Some new products just added to the shop.

Liquid Shine is a matched and colour coded pad and polish system made in the UK and consisting of:

High Cut

A high cut and high gloss compound for use on fresh and cured paint. Capable of removing 1500 grit sanding scratches and for use on automotive paints, marine gelcoats and composite surfaces.
  • Silicone, wax and filler free.
  • Capable of removing P1500 grit sanding marks.
  • Capable of removing minor defects and heavy oxidisation.
  • Water based and biodegradeable.
  • High gloss.
  • Designed for all paint types.

It has matching purple 150mm firm compounding foam which is recessed for easy centering. Supplied as a pack of 2 foams.

High Cut Compound - High Cut Foams

Fine Cut

A fine cut and high gloss polish for use on fresh and cured paint. Capable of removing 2000 grit sanding scratches and for use on automotive paints, marine gelcoats and composite surfaces.
  • Silicone, wax and filler free.
  • Capable of removing P2000 grit sanding marks.
  • Capable of removing minor defects and oxidisation.
  • Designed for Ceramic and Scratch resistant Clearcoat.
  • Water based and Biodegradeable.
  • High Gloss

It has matching turquoise 150mm medium compounding/polishing foams, also recessed for easy centering. Supplied as a pack of 2 foams.

Fine Cut Polish - Fine Cut Foams

Zero Swirl

A very light cut, and very high gloss finishing polish for use on fresh and cured paint. Use to eliminate swirl marks, and marring or holograms from heavier compounds. For use on automotive paints, marine gelcoats and composite surfaces.
  • Silicone, wax and filler free.
  • Removes Swirl marks, marring and holograms.
  • Very high gloss finish (92-93 gloss units).
  • Suitable for use by hand too.
  • Water based.

It has a matching red 150mm light polishing foam, also recessed for easy centering. Supplied as a pack of 2 foams.

Zero Swirl Finishing Polish - Zero Swirl Foams

Now although it is a complete system, there is no need to exclusively use the system, all the pads will work quite happily with other polishes and all the polishes will work happily with other foams. It just a complete matched and colour coded system for ease of use, but is designed to work extremely well together (which it does ).

I've been playing around with it for a while and they are great products, the Zero Swirl really stands out as fantastic finishing polish though and the foams are lovely.

Anyway a few work in progress shots where they were used, mainly the Zero Swirl. I've been trying to polish it in between rain showers for the last fortnight. :doublesho

Thanks for looking.
Ben

Looks interesting and not bad of a price. What would you say the zero swirls would compare to? Interesting packaging as well, I guess if you can save a few bucks putting it in a bag and transfer into a cheap bottle might as well go for it.

The zero swirl is quite similar to the UK 3m Ultrafina or Menzerna Final Finish PO85RD, some where around those cut levels. It does leaves a lovely gloss.

I would think the foil bag packaging is no cheaper to produce than a plastic bottle, but it is easier to store, lighter and easier to ship. Plus when you get near the end a plastic bottle starts spitting and makes it generally hard work to get any polish out, with the foil you can just keep squeezing until the very end like a tooth paste tube.

I've got the starter kit, Liquid Shine Rotary Starter Kit , if that doesn't excite you though I'm sure I can do a bundle for you.

Yeah sure, I was just going to post that up. If anyone does want a starter kit with a 5/8 backingplate I will swap the backing plates over for you.
