whats the trick for cleaning the nylon/polyester type seats

The title explains it all... Don't want to soak em with product because it will start to degrade and rot!

Good question, my Fusion has these type of seats. I would try a light APC mix and a MF towel or scrub pad. Spray on towel or applicator then apply.

303 Fabric/Vinyl Cleaner - the biodegradable formula removes oil, grease, dirt, coffee, tea, juice, wine, and pet stains from any water-safe fabric.

I used Megs APC + yesterday on my Fusion seats for some unknown spots with a MF towel and they came out good as new. A good interior brushing goes a long way too.
