I just picked up a Civic Si for a smoking deal. The problem is that the dealer detailed the car before they posted it for sale. My big issue is the oily, greasy dressing that the detailer slathered all over every plastic piece on the interior. What can I use to safely clean it off from my plastics? Do I use a diluted Adam's APC? Something esle work better? Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

Adams APC will work fine. Make sure you use a rinse bucket and a lot of MFs. You will be changing the water a few times. Make sure you rinse everything again with just water to make sure there's no residue left behind.

Do you have a certain dilution ratio you recommend? Thanks for the response as well!

Check with Phil @ detailersdomain ... I have used Adams APC in the past, but I'm not familiar with their dilution ratios. IIRC, Most APCs recommend a dilution ration of 10:1 for interior work.

Or get a bottle of Einszett Deep Plastic Cleaner..
    No annoying rinsing..
Have plenty of either cotton or microfiber towels on hand because this stuff is going to remove all the crap on your car interior very easily..
    Leaves a matte finish,
    Smells great..

I can agree with everything but the smells great part PDC works phenomenally but the smell really lingers and I don't find it inviting at all. But to each his own.

I agree, that and cockpit should leave the interior perfect.

Any APC or Degreaser will work for you. Just follow the manufacturers recommended dilutions. Many times dealers will use a solvent based dressing and this will require a bit more elbow grease.
