I am going to detail my personal car and then use Opticoat 2. How long after do I need to wait before topping with Sonax polymer net?

I tell customers after 5-7 days.

I have heard some pros are putting it on after 2 hours.

I was told it can be topped with spns after an hour or so... we're talking about OCP but i'm sure the same info is applicable to oc2.0.

Opti-coat pro takes 1-2 weeks to cure fully and I tell my customers to wait 2 weeks to coat it with anything else.

Thanks for the input. It would be nice to top off right away when everything is perfect but it sounds like 2 weeks is the safe bet.

Chris told me it takes 1-2 weeks to cure so not sure why you top sooner.

The coating has fully bonded and cannot be removed without polishing after an hour... so topping it will not affect it negatively at all. It will surely help to reduce waterspotting at the very least.

    m3mike - You're safe

What is the durability like with Netshield on Opti coat? And could you use BSD on an opti coated surface to restore beading?
