2015 Lamborghini Huracan recently completed, the vehicles finish was not sorted out from the factory as there was machine holograms and sanding scratches to correct over the entire car with clusters of defects on certain panels. Ready to begin the wash. Sticky residue on the engine louvers. Sanding marks so deep my LED light would not reflect in the pic. Sanding scratches right up to the edge of the panel where a buffing pad could not safely reach. Time consuming hand correction of these areas would be needed. Clearing up the defects. Whole panel now corrected of the sanding defects and polished down, beautiful flake now can show through. Not a tremendous amount of film build in some areas either, 25 micron's is as thin as a sheet of paper per the calibration film for my DeFelsko AD 200 so 31 microns is the thinness................ Looks to be 1000 grit or 1500 paper sanding scratches. Same area corrected of deep defects. More pigtail's................... Clarity of the panel after correction. Fuel filler cap with RIDS & sanding scratches. Working the paint. Someone went at this nib in a aggressive manor. Not only fixed the nib, but cut the shrink out of the finish on the door as well(*Note) the reflection of the individual LED bulbs in this pic compared to the previous one with more clarity and definition of each bulb. Cluster of sanding scratches on the rear bumper. Cluster corrected. Dry wool pad marks. RIDS everywhere. Defects corrected. Fingernail marks on the drivers door handle. Starting to get the new car look it should have had. Matte painted rear diffuser cleaned up of streaks & staining. Fine detail work in and around the badge and honeycomb grill(Left over compound and water spots). Dialed in Lamborghini is a good look for the shop. A few interior pics. Jet fighter like console. Paint color descriptions always sound better in Italian. Cowl area cleaned of water spots. Cleaning wheel wells. Ready for the road. Daniel putting down a final water wipe. Bob, was this "handled" at the dealer prior to your possession? I'd hate to think that's the factory fresh condition.
I recognize those wheels. This car was SEMA this year I believe. Looks great! Edit: Never mind, it was a red Huracan with the same bronze wheels on it.
