2015 Speciale' in for it all, new car prep(Would really be a correction detail) film coverage to protect this prized auto for a longtime client.

Dropped off in between heavy rain storms, I went right to work.

Factory film removed for preparation of new film.

Initially when the client brought the car we both looked it over and it seemed pretty good.....................after wash/decon and harsh lighting the truth was revealed that there were some issues but all fixable.

With the trunklid screen at a angle to the edge I corrected by hand for the safest although slower option. Sanding scratches corrected.

The stripe had quite a bit of issues compared to the rest of the car in comparison.

Small cluster of sand scratches on the edge of the trunklid.

Rocker aero piece with sanding scratches.

    Defects removed.

Working the rest of the rocker area.

After the areas to be wrapped were prepped, Mach 3 did their stuff............X-Pel Ultimate being laid down(* Johnson and crew would be doing this Speciale' and then the next day a Grigio Speciale' back to back).

Rear bumper would be riddled with sanding scratches, right up to the edges...........

    Defects on the roof.

General marring on the engine cover.

    Same area cleared up.

Daniel of Car Connoisseur helping out.

The carbon in the engine compartment was.................pretty bad. Most of the defects especially on the louvers would require hand correction.

    Sanding scratches and rotary holograms.

    Rear bumper defects.

No LED lights in Marenello...................... Job security preserved!.

    During aggressive correction step.

    Tedious hand correction.

    Daniel polishing the film.

    Laying down on the job.................

Wheel well cleaning aided by camber droop.

Later we would come to find overspray over the entire wheel(Actually both rear wheels) Daniel kept on these wheels till the issues were dealt with.

Carbon door shells were in awful shape.

    Daniel taping off the Alcantara.

    Correcting the carbon.

Seat shells were the same story.

    Corrected carbon seat shell.

Using a machine were I could, but as previously mentioned quite a bit of hand correction & polishing.

Louvers took some time to get right.

    With the cleaness.

    Done.

Not too many outside pics, client was going to have to race home to beat the next storm coming in.

    Hightailing it home.....................

Such level of quality and attention to detail it is amazing.

Too bad that most likely the very first scheduled service will have the ferrari dealer undoing all your precious work :(
