Car stickers?

I got a couple of stickers that would normally be used in an Audi Q5 Diesel that I wanted to put on my White Jetta Sportwagen TDI. It's one of those "TDI" stickers from Audi.

What's the best way to do this without damaging the paint? Should I wax the car first? Will the stickers come out too easily and have ugly, dirty, frayed ends if I do that?

    Any suggestions appreciated.

I would suggest correcting the area where the decal will be applied (if needed), then use a mixture of isopropyl alcohol & water (about 20% IPA to water) to remove any wax or other LSP on the paint. Apply the decal, then wax (or apply other LSP) over the area.

Pics when you are done please!

Thanks for the tip. Now the question is where to put it...
